How to make a DIY personalized fireman birthday t-shirt:
Here’s all you do:
1. PURCHASE and pay for this listing; once your payment is processed, you will receive a link to instantly DOWNLOAD THE PDF via Etsy. There are two versions – one for short names and one for longer names.
2. CUSTOMIZE the PDF using Adobe Reader 9, a free download from Adobe.com. Just type your desired text into the fields and voila! It will instantly update with your custom text. There are FOUR t-shirt designs to choose from!
3. PRINT on ink jet iron on transfer paper. Print as many as you like, over and over again! Be sure to print only the page that you need.
I recommend Avery Personal Creations InkJet Iron On Dark T Shirt Transfers. I like this product because it prints deep colors and also there is no need to reverse the pattern for an iron-on.
(NOTE: Be sure to read your purchased transfer product see if you need to print it backwards. If you need to reverse it then Go to “File…Print” then click the Copies & Pages dropdown and choose Layout. Click the checkbox “Flip Horizontally.” If you have any issues with flipping it on your computer/printer setup, please contact me. And here’s a tip: make sure when you print that the Page Scaling on your printer dialog is set to “print to fit” and its highest print quality by going to “Quality & Media” and setting “Print Quality” to High).
4. IRON ON to a t-shirt by following the package directions and WEAR!
We made this t-shirt as part of my son’s Liam’s Planes Fire & Rescue-inspired 4th Birthday. He absolutely LOVED his shirt and asks to wear it again all the time!
