I want to share these easy DIY photo centerpieces for wedding receptions, showers and engagement parties that I made for the Amazing Connections™ Official Velcro Company Blog as part of a wedding series that shows how to use VELCRO® Brand fasteners to add simple and clever personal touches to your big day.
This easy and budget-friendly DIY wedding centerpiece idea features photos of the happy couple that you can print yourself or purchase photo magnets to reuse on your refrigerator after the reception is over.
There’s no adhesive on the vases, no sticky reside to remove when the party’s over — just wrap the removable VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® Roll around the vase and affix the photos or magnets. I added colorful purple and green paper strips that matched the wedding colors. When the reception is over, simple unwrap the fasteners to re-use vases and photos/magnets in your new home together.
This sentimental idea is super versatile: Use baby photos of the couple and coordinate ages with table numbers (photos of age 5 at table 5). Or share photos of memorable vacations together (Hawaii on table 4). Or flip the focus onto your friends and family by sharing photos of the your friendships at each table or something guests have in common (Michigan State photos for alumni at Table 1).
It would also be fun for 25th and 50th wedding anniversary parties.
I had fun mining my photographic archives to find these photos of me and Shane together.
The removable VELCRO® Brand fasteners make it easy to move photos around until you get the look you want.
You can match the size of your vase and number of photos. Use a couple photos or a whole bunch.
Head on over to the Amazing Connections™ Official Velcro Company Blog for step-by-step instructions on how to make these easy DIY photo centerpieces for weddings, bridal showers and engagement parties using adjustable and removable VELCRO® Brand fasteners!
