Make your own personalized digger iron on t-shirt for a construction birthday party. It’s super easy and you can make a personalized construction birthday party t-shirt in less than 30 minutes!
I made this personalized construction t-shirt for Liam’s 2nd birthday party. He wanted a “digger birthday party.” Cute, huh? And you can easily make one too!
Visit my etsy store to get this digital construction vehicle iron-on t-shirt PDF that you can easily personalize yourself and print to make your own construction birthday party t-shirt. All you have to do is type into the PDF file and then print onto a ink jet t-shirt transfers and iron it onto a child-size t-shirt.
Make as many as you like for your party! You get both yellow and orange.
And if you’re not feeling crafty? Then just order a finished personalized digger t-shirt from my Zazzle store and get the printed t-shirt shipped to your door. It comes in all sizes from Toddler to Large Youth (see the “colors and options” section on the right of the Zazzle page).
This excavator t-shirt iron-on has been designed for a modern-looking construction birthday party. Find this and more coordinating items in my etsy store.
As a bonus, you could also print it onto white card stock for a door decoration sign!
How to make a personalized construction birthday t-shirt:
Here’s all you do:
1. PURCHASE my personalized digger iron-on printable; once your payment is processed, you will receive a link to instantly DOWNLOAD via Etsy.
2. CUSTOMIZE the construction vehicle using Adobe Reader 9 or above, a free download from Adobe.com available at Just type your desired text into the fields and voila! It will instantly update with your custom text. Have just an age, or just a name, or both a name and an age, it’s up to you!
This file will fit ages 1-9. Contact me for ages 10+.
3. PRINT on ink jet iron on transfer paper and cut out.
I recommend Avery Personal Creations InkJet Iron On Dark T Shirt Transfers. I like this product because it prints deep colors and also there is no need to reverse the pattern for an iron-on.
(NOTE: Be sure to read your purchased transfer product see if you need to print it backwards. If you need to reverse it then Go to “File…Print” then click the Copies & Pages dropdown and choose Layout. Click the checkbox “Flip Horizontally.” And here’s a tip: make sure when you print that the Page Scaling on your printer dialog is set to “print to fit” and its highest print quality by going to “Quality & Media” and setting “Print Quality” to High).
Peel off the back if you are using the Avery Personal Creations InkJet Iron On Dark T Shirt Transfers. If your nails are short like mine, you can carefully slip a craft knife between the backing and transfer to get the peeling started.
(For making a door decoration sign: I recommend this white card stock paper.)
4. IRON ON THE T-SHIRT by following the package directions.
I recommend a heather gray cotton t-shirt.
Let cool following package directions, peel away the ironing paper and voila! Personalized construction birthday t-shirt.
We made this t-shirt as part of my son’s Liam’s Digger 2nd Birthday. He absolutely LOVED his shirt and asks to wear it again all the time!
Dig! Dig! Dig! Raccchaat! Raccchaat!
