I love this program!! And would love to use it for my wedding but can not seem to download the template so that I can alter it, HELP??

I must admit I am a bit lacking in my computer knowledge!

Hi Stephanie, my sewing machine is a Brother X-65. Nothing too fancy but has the double zig-zag stitch which I tend to use quite a lot. Be sure to use fresh needles and change them often. Thanks for stopping by!

I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely loved your idea for this so much that I have decided to use it in my own wedding. I’m changing up the colors a bit, but the general idea of the program is the same. Pictures will come soon! My wedding is this Saturday. :)

Thanks so much for your comments and for visiting Merriment!

To answer your question I technically had 8 layers sewn in my program:

1. Front name label
2. Folded cardstock outside (counts as two layers)
3. Five pages (single sided) of Paper Source luxe text weight program

I recommend practicing with the actual front name label weight and
outside cardstock …testing a couple different options for the five
program pages. You shouldn’t ruin your machine but you likely will go
through a pack of needles.

I made 75 programs. It really didn’t take too long assembling …I’d
say a couple evenings tops …printing the pages on my slow as honey
ink jet printer took the most time. Chunk it up by printing everything
one night, cutting everything another, get your fiance to help you
stack them, then sew them.

Hope that helps! I’d love to post a photo of your program and other
wedding crafts when you’re finished. Take close-up photos and send
them along :)
