How to make DIY personalized fireman favor bags? Here’s all you do:
1. PURCHASE and pay for the printable favor bags listing. Etsy will instantly send you the digital PDF file to DOWNLOAD INSTANTLY. No physical item will be shipped — and no waiting!
2. PERSONALIZE the fireman favor bags yourself at home by typing into the PDF (NOTE: use Adobe Reader rather than your web browser).
3. PRINT at home or your local professional printing shop. Print as many as you need. I recommend this white card stock paper.
4. CUT OUT and fold and tape to make the favor bags (details below). Easy!
Cut out the favor bags using scissors or a craft knife, or both. Cut the the solid lines, fold the dotted lines.
Here’s a neat trick: turn a craft knife upside down and run it along a straight edge, either a ruler or a book or something else. Because the knife is upside down, it scores the paper a little bit (but doesn’t cut it all the way through) which makes it easy to fold a crisp, straight edge.
See? Crisp, straight edges.
Put some glue in the on the folded edge.
Then put some glue on the bottom. Stick it together. Then when the glue is dry, reinforce it with tape for extra strength.
Make as many as you’d like for your fireman party!
